Council Rock School District
Council Rock School District, in Southeastern Pennsylvania, comprises 15 K-12 schools and one alternative high school, as well as two administrative buildings. 1,300 teachers and support staff serve 11,000 students. The district needed to replace an end-of-life firewall and needed a next-generation firewall that could automate as many processes as possible to ease the burden on its small IT staff. In addition, its unified communications (UC) platform was outdated, complex, and costly to operate. Turning to 188BET×ãÇò, Council Rock deployed a FortiGate Next-Generation Firewall. Soon after, the district added FortiAP secure wireless access points and FortiSwitches. The district has adopted FortiManager to centrally manage and configure its devices, as well as FortiSIEM (security information and event management) to collate security intelligence. The district also deployed FortiEDR (endpoint detection and response), which helps enable secure home schooling at scale, and FortiAuthenticator to further boost its perimeter defenses. Finally, the district rolled out FortiVoice, 188BET×ãÇò¡¯s integrated UC platform for voice, conferencing, chat, and fax.
See how consolidating to 188BET×ãÇò¡¯s Security Fabric offers greater visibility, control, automation, protection, and ease of management, which leads to significant savings benefits for Council Rock School District in this case study.
